1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Fortvest platform ("Platform"), including our website at fortvestng.com and our web application at app.fortvestng.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
Fortvest Technologies ("Fortvest", "we", "us", "our") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Eligibility
To use the Fortvest Platform, you must:

- Be a resident of Nigeria or an eligible jurisdiction

You must register for an account to access most features of the Platform. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Fortvest reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or engages in suspicious activity.
4. Services
Fortvest provides the following financial services through the Platform:
- FortFlex: A flexible savings wallet with instant liquidity and competitive interest rates
- FortBank: A high-yield savings account with fixed maturity terms and premium interest rates up to 15% per annum
- FortInvest: Co-ownership investment opportunities in agriculture, real estate, and transport assets with projected returns of 18-22% ROI
- FortAdvance: Emergency cash advances of up to 75% of your FortBank balance at competitive interest rates
5. Investment Risks
All investments carry risk. By using our investment services, you acknowledge that:
- Past performance does not guarantee future results
- Projected returns are estimates and not guaranteed
- The value of investments may go up or down
- You may not receive back the full amount invested
- Fortvest is not a licensed bank or securities firm, and deposits are not insured by NDIC
6. Fees and Charges
- No hidden maintenance or SMS fees on savings accounts
- Early withdrawal penalties may apply on FortBank fixed-term deposits
- FortAdvance loans carry interest as disclosed at the time of borrowing
- Transaction fees, if applicable, will be clearly displayed before confirmation
7. Withdrawals and Transfers
- FortFlex: Instant withdrawal to your linked bank account
- FortBank: Available at maturity; early withdrawal may incur penalties
- FortInvest: Returns are distributed upon project maturity
8. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activity
- Provide false or misleading information during registration or transactions
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or similar tools on the Platform
- Circumvent any security features or restrictions on the Platform
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and the Fortvest brand, is the property of Fortvest Technologies and is protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fortvest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
11. Dispute Resolution
- Good faith negotiation between the parties
- Mediation, if negotiation fails
- Arbitration under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
